LAURENT REJTO is the co-founder and administrative director of the Woodstock Film Festival, which is considered one of the top regional film festivals in the country. The not-for-profit organization has a mission to present an annual program and year-round schedule of film, music, and art-related activities that promote artists, culture, inspired learning, and diversity. Rejto is also the founder and director of the Hudson Valley Film Commission, which creates sustainable local economic development by attracting, supporting and promoting regional film production.
Rejto has over 25 years experience in film as an editor, writer, director and producer. Laurent’s most recent project is the short film PERSEPHONE starring Academy Award winner Melissa Leo. Other projects have included the music video MOTHER, for the iconic band Blondie; in addition to FRANKIES GUN and TROUBLE BEEN HARD for The Felice Brothers.
